1976 Commenced trading as
Courtesy Real Estate from a converted Victorian terrace at 158 Ben
Boyd Road, directly opposite Neutral Bay Public School.
1987
Joined the Ray White Group and changed trading name to Ray White
Neutral Bay.
1997 Purchased new office for Sales Department
at Gateway Court, opposite the Oaks Hotel. Rental Department
continued to trade from original premises.
2001 Moved both
Sales and Rentals to expansive new premises at 3 Young Street,
Neutral Bay. Appointed by Ray White Group as franchisee for Mosman
and changed trading name to Ray White Neutral Bay
Mosman.
2004 Merged with the very successful, Waverton based,
boutique agency, Gillespie International Real Estate.
2006 Purchased the Lidan Group and integrated the rental property portfolio.
2007 Expanded the marketing area of the business with the purchase
of Ray White Crows Nest and commenced trading as Ray White Neutral Bay Mosman & Crows Nest.
2008 With over 50 staff, additional space in 3 Young Street was taken
to accommodate growth both in Residential & Commercial Sales and Leasing. In addition we have made the decision to rebrand our business to a name that more accurately describes where we have traded successfully for over 32 years. On 1st September 2008 we became Ray White Lower North Shore.
From
humble beginnings in 1976, the business has grown to be consistantly
among the top two sales offices within the Ray White Group in New
South Wales and regularly among the top three within the entire 950+
office network. We are also one of the leading auction offices in
the State and professionally manage many hundreds of properties
throughout the Lower North Shore.
Directors Mike Gillan (Managing Partner) and Kingsley Yates (Sales Director), have between them more than 50 years of Lower North Shore real estate experience. Shane Slater became a director in 2003 with Robert Gillespie becoming a director after managing Gillespie Real Estate in 2005. More recently, Peter Matthews was appointed a Director acting alongside Mike Gillan to assist in the further growth of the business and delivery of ever improving customer service.
Our highly trained team of
more than 50 salespeople, property managers, and support staff
regularly attend seminars and education programs to keep up to date
with the latest in advanced technology, management and sales skills,
methods of marketing and promotion and overall industry
legislation.
